China Pharma’s subsidiary, Helpson, was formed from an "equity joint venture" as defined by China's laws on foreign invested enterprises in 1993. Since its establishment, Helpson has positioned itself in the research, development, manufacturing, and sales of a series of bio-pharmaceutical products. Helpson's products focus primarily on genetic engineering, bioengineering and peptidergic medicine, as well as chemical medicinal products. In the past decade, under the leadership of a veteran senior management team with a proven track record, Helpson has built a sophisticated R&D team, integrated state-of-the-art GMP manufacturing capabilities as well as established a strong marketing presence. Currently, 15 of Helpson’s products are on the market, including the company’s first OTC product PuSenOK , Gastrodin and Hepatocyte growth-promoting factor.
